I was just wondering what the Utopia boot CD actually does, because when I try to play one of my backups with it they don't work. But if I just put the backup directly in the Dreamcast and power it on, the backup works great.

So again I ask "What is the Utopia Boot CD actually used for".

I believe it is just for allowing your Dreamcast to run import games.

The intended purpose of the Utopia Boot Disc is to boot up non-self-booting pirated games. If the pirated game is already self-booting then Utopia does nothing.

Utopia can boot legitimate imports. However, using it for that purpose is unadvised as it almost always causes glitches.

I also have a DC Pal (not modded) but utopia boot cd doesn't run my backupped games, there's something I can do?

PLEASE!!! someone help me...I have a copy of dc virtual-on but no dc. I have chankast for pc and wish to play my game.
If its tooooooo difficult to backup myself will someone help or post a torrent or something. The only seeding torrent i found was 182mb self boot and wouldnt work even with a region free'er.
