When I tried installing Simcity 3000 unlimited, the installation will halt at the file 'advisors.ixf' and then an error message: 'Unexpected error when copying file' pops up. I'm using Vista but don't know why this error comes up always.

Either your CD is damaged (Scratched or erased yes that can happen) or your CD-ROM is going out or can't read the CD right. If you have a CD or CD-ROM Cleaner try it.
