I've bought games where you shoot the hell out of cops, and just plain people and im only 16. Some stores don't care. THe ERSB or ESRB is just there to state to your guardian (if your under 18) that this game has Mature content. Or this game has teen appropiate content. Thats all. ITs not for game stores to choose whether to sell it to people that age. its the stores preference.

ya but at say walmart they ALWAYS warn ur parents when u buy a game thats M. like when i bought halo he told my mom this is rated M for blah blah and blah. so if ur gonna buy this game dont go to walmart. they WILL make sure ur parents know whats in this game

I don't know about you but after I played the game I got a strange feeling. I just had to go out steel a car and kill a cop whata rush. What is the world comin to when you have to blame a video game for the entire problem in society. The parents who are against the game must not know there kids. My mom knows it's a game, and guess what it's not real. I have been playin "M" rated games my whole life. Wolfenstein, DOOM, and QUAKE you name it I was playin it. I knew they were games. Parents should know games don't kill people, people kill people. VIDEO GAMES DONT. Parents who are against it are scared.

yeah my parents gave me crap about it. they said 'i dont know, i here it's violent ' this was AFTER i got gta 3 and im asking for vc. i can hide anything from them so it doesnt really matter.

My parents will (reluctantly) let me play M games, my only problem is getting them to buy them for me, and I can't get a job. Everytime I ask for a game I get "What? Do you think, that I was put on this Earth to spend 50 dollars on some video game everytime you want one? Besides, I think that you have killed enough people"

Ha! I'm 18, and my parents can't do shit about what games I buy! Heck I look old enough (assuming I don't shave for a couple days) that I can go into a bar without an ID! Not that I drink alcoholic beverages. Anyway, I just don't tell my parents the content and they are ignorant when it comes to the ESRB ratings. When Conker's BFD came out for the 64, they bought it not knowing what an offensive (yet histerical) game it was. Just don't tell them what's in the game; it's not lieing if you don't tell them anything.
