GTA 3 or GTA Vice City? |
|
Which game is better, GTA 3 or GTA Vice City? I played Vice City at my friends house a couple times... Is GTA like Vice City? (controls, vehicles, etc.). So far Im getting GTA 3, is there anything i should know about that might change my mind?

Both games, GTA3 & Vice city, come in a double pack, meaning you get both for $50 on xbox. they're are the same in controls but the cities, cars, and storyline are different.

I would say GTA3s storline is better, but Vice has copters, bikes and other things. Also the radio for GTA3 is made up with chatterbox being great while Vice has real songs. Either way both games are alot better than whats out there. You getting both for a steal. Enjoy.

I like Vice City better because of the added vehicles, etc., but I haven't really spent much time on GTA 3. A buddy of mine that beat GTA 3 says VC seems like an expansion and that it's alot easier.

I have only played GTA III, and I absolutely love it. I've never played VC, but what I have seen of it, it looks magnificent. The graphics are superb... (in the commercials)

I can't really make a choice between the two because I love them both. Their both considered the greatest games of all-time.

My favourite game is Vice City, only because it has the extra features like bailing out of cars, crouching, more weapons, more cars, choppers, loads of boats etc.
But i do LOVES GA3, heres what i like about them both: GTA3: Shotgun, FBI Car, Karuma's, Stinger's, Hills, Trains, import/export garage's, it's harder, cool missions, The City's. I'll probably think of more soon. Vice City: Chopper's, Bikes, buying property, bailing from cars, loads of missions/side missions, Loads of cool boats, The clear water. The two games are both really good in their own ways, like for example i like GTA3's city's better because it has hills and a dam, very cool. And Vice City has all the features GTA3 doesn't have like i have said above, bailing, choppers etc. I have actually started getting addicted to GTA3 again, which feels pretty weird since Ive been playing Vice City for AGES and haven't played GTA3 since i got Vice City for the PS2, but now I'm playing GTA3 on the double pack and it feels new and fresh again, it feels great. -------------------

i would have to say that Vice City is my favorite, 3 was good, but the extras that come along with Vice City is what makes it better. the real music, the bikes, the boats, the choppers, and so on...

Definitly GTA3. It just gives me a better feeling. The city is just more fun and imo VC was too easy.

"Definitly GTA3. It just gives me a better feeling"
I'll second that. Although it doesn't have the features of VC, there is just something about the environment that feels so much better. I have this same feeling about the original Resident Evil too (GTA3 and RE are my favorite single player games ever). I don't have the XB version of GTA 3 yet but I'm thinking of picking it up since I can get it for $12. I'm just worried about the idiotic button layout of the XB controller. But I sure would love to see my precious Liberty City sharpened up though | |

" I'm just worried about the idiotic button layout of the XB controller." There is no need to worry about this. the XBox is actually a lot better and easier. There are only 2 buttons on the back of the xbox and I just got an xbox and got rid of my ps2 which I hve had for 2 years and I had no problem converting to the new controller. Im out.
