I think the Xbox controller is better. The PS2's buttons keep feeling like they're about to pop out and the triggers are really, really awkward. I like GTA Vice City better than GTA3 because the missions are a little (as in 1%) easier and the cars last longer.

i like it because xb controllers have joy sticks and for some reason ps2 controllers dont feel like there right in my hands like its gonna fall

If you like story, get 3. For vehicles and extra crap, Vice. Simple solution-double pack, definately the way you need to go. As for the xbox controls, just go to the menu and switch controller settings from "standard" to "classic" and it makes the configuration very much like the PS2.

GTA3, like the others stated, the atmosphere in Liberty City feels much better. I hope GTASA can recapture that feeling. I would be happy with a remake of GTA3 with all the features of VC

I like Vice better because you really can fly instead of using the flightless dodo in GTA III and in Vice you can jump out of the car when it is on fire without stopping it first.

I've only just got the Double pack on Xbox but I think they're both more or less the same so they're both as good as each other.

I prefer GTA 3, but Vice City is pretty good too.
