My meowth was gonna learn a new move, but I said no. Can it still learn that move later, or have I lost my chance?

I don't think there was a move tutor in the 2nd generation games. Sorry :/

• That depends on what kind of move it was. Some moves are on TM List but if it's not there then you lost your chance.

payday is a tm in red, blue, and yellow.

You can always just raise another one. It can't be a terribly high level.

It has to. The only other method of "going to learn a new move" would be a TM, and if he decided not to teach Meowth the TM then he would still have it, and thus wouldn't have lost his chance.

The alternative is that he later sold the TM or used it on another Pokemon, but pay attention to his wording. He didn't say the problem was that he wasn't able to teach the move, he said, specifically, that the problem was that "he said no". It's a safe assumption that it's a level move.

All that aside from just his first post, he clearly stated a few posts later that the attack in question was Pay Day.
