I have been hearing a lot about this pokemon, but I have never seen it or heard of it until now. What is it and how do you get it?

its the 251st pkmn, and yeah you can only get it by using gameshark or well thats the only way that i know how to get it...i also heard that if you collect all 250 and talk to someone (not sure) theyll give you a g/s ball which you have to put in the ilex shrine then it comes out to be captured or maybe you just need 250 then go to ilex shrine...but ive never tried it yet so im not sure

...Oh, is it that little green thing that is supposed to be the forest's protector? I need to get someone to try and get the g/s ball for me.

maybe it is i dunno where i heard it but im positive its something like that the only other way like i said, to get celebi is the gameshark,i have all 250 i havent used my gameshark to get celebi yet though cuz i wanna try it out and see if what i heard is true

THERE MUST BE A THOUSAND THREADS ON THIS ALREADY!!I heard you can get Celebi by catching all other pokemon then elmm gives you the GS ball. You put it in the shrine in the forest.

You can only catch Celebi in the Japanese version, or use a cheating device.

well i have had all 250 pkmn for a while and elm hasnt given me crap, but then again i havent hatched my togepi yet so maybe i have to do that first then talk to him

you have to collect all the pokemon then talk to the girl in the buiding that you go into to get to goldenrod she will give you a g/s ball talk to not behind the counter not the on behind the counter
