You can get geodude, a very good ground/rock type pokemon, very early in the game. You can find geodude at route 46. The only problem is, he evolves to his final form through trading, so you won't be able to evolve him into his last form if you can't trade.

You could somehow end up finding diglet in some cave much later in the game, or you could teach a normal type pokemon DIG.

hi I know this doesnt have any connetion to this topic but can anyone tell me how to find the missing machine part it saids its in the cerulean gym i used my item finder but all it says is "theres an item nearby" how do i get it do i have to walk there for about 30mins for one tile plz help me
