Hi everyone,

We've updated the site with a minor, but much needed design refresh on the venerable User Reviews.

This refresh includes the following:

• a newer style that is cleaner and more professional. User Reviewers can be even more proud of how great these look now!!
• new sorting options, so you can sort by highest score, or most helpful reviews.
• if you have friends who have reviewed the game you'll see a link showing this. Clicking on it will show all your friends' reviews for that game.
  • 
• we truncate the main review list now, it was getting too big and the truncated style lets you browse reviews more easily.
• full reviews include links to the reviewer's user review member page, latest user review and also the one that has the most helpful ratings.
• If you rate a review as Helpful it will show up in your activitylog as a "Likes" entry.

Welcome Xenctuary to Neostaff

This refresh was long overdue, and its release is also a timely opportunity to introduce longtime member Xenctuary as the newest addition to the Neostaff team - Xenctuary is our new GUI guru and will work closely with us (and under my very picky eye) to refresh the look and useability of many portions of the site as well as helping with many cool things.

I think this announcement about Xenctuary comes as no surprise to many, since for a while people have asked about this. Xenctuary recently came back from the UK to NeoHQ and is now settling in for a long haul of Neo-Updates. We're all really looking forward to a great Q4 2009 and the many surprises 2010 will bring!

YESYESYESYESYES! Xenctuary is the cool dude...and now I know what he does!

As for the update itself, although much is the same. The simplistic box and the "About the Author" sections are well done.

What about my lil lonely review? D:

quick edit: like the game profile user review list too. Although at the top, I think the images need a CSS attribute to get rid of the link border.

Awesome to see the user reviews undergo such a revamp! Everything is so nice and shiny and looks so much more professional. People might actually wander around the user review sections more! Especically since the system wasn't as intutitive before as it is now!

I was not surprised to see Endless Online is my most popular review, it was really the only review of it at the time but a lot of people didn't like someone pointing out the glaring problems in it. =P

Also, congrats Xenc! From permabanned to Neostaff, a story which beats all others! Best of luck!
