Hi everyone,

We're proud to announce a refresh and major upgrade of our Xbox Live Community features. We've always supported Gamertags, but now we've greatly expanded XBL support by adding your personal achievements and individual game information to your member profile. We've also added a community hub where you can see the latest happenings in the community. All this information is automatically maintained by the system and updates nightly.

How to get started

Add your GamerTag Here

• It may take up to an hour or more for your stats to show up after you add your GamerTag.

Here are some highlights of this upgrade:

1. New XBL hub!
   1. listing the latest achievements unlocked by the entire community
   2. latest unique unlocks to the site that were previously never unlocked by any other member.
   3. the top games being played by members on Xbox Live
   4. The ability to filter the results by your neofriends so you can see the latest achievements or top games played by your friends!
2. Every game has its own Achievements page (eg Borderlands) listing achievements and community stats
   1. games which have achievements never unlocked by any member on the site will list those achievements.
3. Every achievement has its own page (eg "Eyes and Ears Achievement for COD4)
   1. find related threads to that achievement
   2. See all members who have earned that achievement
   3. each achievement has its own commments section so you can share tips, frustrations, and otherwise discuss each achievement.
   4. As with all our other new features, comments are in your activitylog and replies to your comments in your responses log
4. New and improved member's XboxLive page - this page replaces the legacy Gamercard page
   1. See a listing of all XBL games that you have earned achievements in.
   2. Sort your games by title, achievements, score
   3. the member page includes your avatar and the avatars of your friends
   4. The information from the old Gamercard page such as how you rank in the XBL community is now in this new XBL page.
5. New Member's own XBL individual game pages (eg Jax06's King Kong page)
   1. listing of all your unlocked and locked achievements
   2. see how you score against your friends
   3. If you have images in your gallery attached to the game these will be shown off on these pages too. Tekmosis has an example here.

Special thanks to all those who helped test this in the early stages. The foundation of this upgrade was done by tekmosis, with Xenctuary helping with the styling and fancy features and the rest of the team helping to flesh it out.

I know this system is not unique to Neoseeker, but I feel our implementation is pretty cool and is FUN to use. As an Xbox owner I have not been known to care about my Achievements, but since we started this project I have gotten more and more interested in them. I rarely go to xbox.com to check my Achievements and from early sampling it looks like members would enjoy this service.

We hope to roll out a similar upgrade for Steam in the future, and also work on PSN Trophies when that becomes feasible (currently it is not due to technical limitations). In the meantime, if you haven't already added your GamerTag to Neoseeker do so now and start showing off your XBL profile! (people who add their GamerTag may have to wait up to 1 day for the information to start showing up).


Not Everyone's Data has been acquired yet:

Due to last minute bugs not everyone's data has been acquired yet. If you've recently added your gamertag to the site (the past 3 weeks) and notice that now your gamertag editing page has an empty field it means your gamercard hasn't properly updated yet. You can speed this process up by RE-ENTERING your Gamertag after which your data will be acquired in the next 24hours.

Last minute tweaks

We are also still doing last minute tweaks and fixes over the next few days so do report bugs as usual in the site bug forum!

User Profile Tweaks:

Unrelated to the XBL launch, but Xenctuary has updated the user profiles page to pull out the stats from the main info area as many users suggested, and also add a splash of colour (coordinated with your ribbon bar colour) into the main area.

The look of the page looks really nice ^^. I don't exactly know what most of the stuff on the page is about yet (since I don't play Xbox 360 ), but it looks really good =]. Great work to all of the people who designed the page .

Unless I missed it somewhere in the first post though, my profile says I've recently played two games that I actually haven't (Skate 2 and GH: Van Halen), so would that go in the bug forum?
