sorry. And there is no proof. It's just a random guess, like all the other random guesses people in our world make. Which usually end up getting us or them nowhere and then we're right back where we started. But Nintendo might have plans to make a remake, but it's so far off that they don't even want to discuss it with anyone outside the company because they might be though of as idiots when they're just trying to bring back the golden age (in my opinion) of all pokemon games. Took about three minutes to type all of this. Plus I have writer's block in my left hand and it hurts so badly. Yeeoowwww! That feels a bit better, but it is still incredibly sore.

They don't seem to realise that they could make easier money out of this.

Having said that, people spent an extra £80 (or whatever it is there) on getting Ho-oh and Lugia, so that could be their tactic.

Yeah, you're right. In my professional opinion, the G/S/C generation were the best of all. Still, I hope that someday, Nintendo will release a remake for that series.

You're right, Game Freak on the other hand...

Now they are different. Though they cared enough about the Diamond, Pearl and Emerald games to at least include one member of their team.
