Ok, so I have A pokemon I want to trade from Red to Gold using the Time Capsule, and I've been attempting to do so with two Game Boy Advance SP's and a GBA Link Cable. Problem is, I get the message "your friend isn't ready" on my Gold version and shortly thereafter it says "the session timed out due to inactivity" on my Red Version. Now, I know it's possbile to trade between these cartridges; I've done ti before using a Game Boy classic (which I no longer have access to) and a Game Boy Pocket. So, what I want to know is, what's the problem? It's obviously reading the link cable, but it won't let me trade. Do I just have a bum cable, or is there something up with the GBA's? Any ideas would be appreciated.

Lol, I knew I should of posted this in your other thread. I was going to warn you about this issue. Either the game's weren't design properly to function correctly most of the time, or t has something to do with the fact that it's a GB game and GBC game and is a bit hard to get them to function together. Anyways, there isn't any real solution to this problem as far as I have known, you'll just have to keep trying until it works. One thing I would do is calculate and press them so that they would try contacting one another at the same time.

Well, I already answered that part in pm. All I can suggest to you now is keeping trying until it eventually works. This is a common problem, and you're not the first one to experience it. I experienced it quite a lot myself 4-5 years ago.
