So i was rather bored the other day and found my pokemon gold version. I turned it on and started a new game. saved. I came back today and my file didn't save. So I started a new file and saved again, to be sure it hasn't broken. But it didn't save. My gold version doesn't save. . Is there a way to fix this?

My friend's Gold doesn't save either! This must be a common problem, I always thought he just dropped some water on his game or something.

...haven't you guys ever heard of the Internal Battery issue? It's been happening since like 2005 or something.

Basically, back in the days of G/S/C, the games ran on batteries. The kind you find in a watch, actually. The problem being is, they DIE.

Yeah. I've had to replace the battery in my Gold, and my Crystal, and they both play fine now.

My(well bro's) Gold version kept on resetting because when he bet gary/blue he dropped it by accident

none of the batteries died on me yet for my g/s/c. they can stay like that till the remakes come to canada

It's amazing how long some of the stuff can last. Normally they would of died by now, just like mine.

i think it said the eternal battery has run dry, clocked base events will no longer occur in my old ruby game i kno that my frends gold was messed up, it liek wouldnt save or something... xD mines just fine tho =D [and i bot mine fro ma pawn shop XD]
