If you defeated the Gym Leader, make sure to go to the Dragon's Den. From there, go left, and take the path. Make sure to have whirlpool with you to get rid of the whirlpool. From there on, just surf your way through and you'll find what the gym leader requested. She will come and give you the badge. Go outside and you will receive a call from the prof.

He should give you a masterball and have to drop by his lab.(you might think of on saving it and not wasting it. I'll explain why later)


From there on, go to NEw Bark Town and surf on the right. Make sure to have Waterfall and make your way through a cave. From there you'll face numerous trainers and make your way through the cave. Face the Elite four, beat them and you should get a call from the porf after deating the elite four.

This time he'll give you a ticket to ride the boat. From that boat just do what they'll tell you to do, and you'll arrive at Vermillion City. Kanto.



As for the Master ball, there is a duplicating trick. You will only receive this master ball once, and can catch any pokemon by simply throwing it. You might wanna clone many of this masterballs. Here is how.




1. GET TO ANY POKEMON CENTER


2. Give the pokemon you want to clone an item

3. Save in front of a PC
Do not withdraw any pokemon after you saved

4. Deposit the pokemon to a box


8. GO TO CHANGE BOX

9. WHEN YOUR GAMEBOY SCREEN SAYS:
SAVING...DON'T SHUT OFF THE POWER
TURN YOUR GAMEBOY OFF THEN TURN IT ON AND CHECK YOUR POKEMON AND THEN GO TO THE PC AND YOU'LL HAVE A POKEMON AND THE ITEM

Well, maybe you didn't drop by to pick it up after exiting the Dragon's Den and receiving your eight badge. Try checking on Prof. Elm, he might still give you the masterball.

Not true, i got it in the Silph Co. building. I came in there and the guy wouldnt let me up stairs, then he said, "But since you came a long just to get here ill give you this." and he gave me a Master ball. I do have Yellow and Blue but id already gotten the Master ball from them. Igot it at the bottom floor, not the top.
