I have only caught 1. I had Entei. I never saw any of the others. Which really made me mad because I couldn't follow them on the pokedex then.

I did used this method this afternoon but I got the idea from another website, so I can't take all the credit. OK, the ABSOLUTE BEST way to catch these beasts is fairly simple. You release the dogs when you release them from the Burned Tower. Once they're free, forget about them until you have beaten Claire and gotten the Dragon Fang. Then Elm calls you back and gives you the Master Ball. Considering you know the clone cheat (who doesn't?), stock up at least 3 Master balls and also buy several Super Repel (I bought about 20; $500 ea). Find yourself a good patch of grass and use the repel. The repel gets rid of all pokemon except the dogs. It may take a while, but I caught all of mine in about an hour. Oh, DO NOT FIGHT THEM. Just throw the Master Ball and they're yours.
