I think it would be pretty interesting to play as a Jedi or Sith following Revan and Malak in the Mandalorian War, like your exile did. To actually travel to diferent planets and command republic troops and a team of jedi allies would be pretty awesome. The story's already there, but it's vague...easily built upon. You would start out as a child being trained as a jedi and then be taken off to fight the Mandalorians.
Character customization is a must. Race, gender, full face customization kind of like Oblivion.
Another possibility is for Bioware to create two kotor3's one from a sith's vantage point and one from a jedi's. The two games of course being intertwined, but the storyline's being different. I also liked the idea of the big field with jedi's on one side and sith on the other...except since the two stories are intertwined, one person(sith) could be acting out his missions and come across another person(jedi), and have to fight them to get through.
A black lightsaber crystal would be hardcore...or a blastersaber(blaster pistol with a saber attached).

These are my thoughts on what I want or might think will happen should they make a KOTOR III.
I loved both games, but when it comes to story KOTOR[I] is the superior. The story was a lot more detailed, while TSL[II] seems very vague. I liked a lot of TSL but they left too much out in the air, and should they make III they MUST find a way to give us some closure.
When it comes down to the story of KOTOR 3 I have it in my head. Maybe we are Revan again, we take control of him and some new jedi companions headed to face the True Sith, with a new ship. Something smaller and faster than the Ebon Hawk, perhaps something designed by Revan himself. Any way, while along the journey we encounter brand NEW worlds* to Star Wars from beyond the Outer Rim, making friends and enemies while searching for the True Sith. I say at about half way through the game we find the Ebon Hawk on one of the first planets we stumbled upon, a chaotic world. That's when another character creation screen comes up, where we make the Exile. This is where things get a little tricky gameplay wise but I'll talk about that later. As the Exile, and maybe another character from TSL, we get into a heap of mess and find ourselves outnumbered, when who else comes to the rescue but Revan. Skip to the end, after we kill the final boss there's on last fight. As either the Exile trying to usurp the mantel of Dark Lord of the Sith/destroying the last Sith/Jedi left, or as Revan defending his spot as Dark Lord/destroying the last Jedi/Sith.
When it came to playing the game, I loved it. I'm a fan of turn-based games and this was my favorite. I think they could revamp it a little, with the obvious adding forces power or possibly just making them cool. Maybe instead of just force choking why not use the force to hold him upside down and beat him while he's stunned, or even using force push to send it rocketing into the sky and having him fall causing more damage. This time they can add a voice for the main character(s). Also weapons and clothing could be a bit more customizable. Perhaps making outfits instead of one given, also color changing so a mix-match outfit looks alright together. And weapons, when it comes to creating a lightsaber I don't care, TSL handled good enough for me, maybe just adding some hilt styles and color gems. Maybe a new style of lightsabers or two, I saw something on The Force Unleashed with sorta looked like BloodRayne with lightsabers, if the game did take place beyond the Outer Rim who knows whats possible?
This is how I would work out the Revan/Exile thing. Possibly should both be of one alignment that Revan assume the role of Master and Exile apprentice. Through dialogue you can choose what Revan teaches the Exile turning him dark or light not only while playing as the Exile but as Revan too, maybe even giving Revan double points. During the play through levels Revan will normally assume the MAIN character while Exile is a SUB-main character. Should they be of opposite alignments, things shall work a little different. As Revan or Exile it is possible to have them at constant ends bickering of little details such as killing an innocent or helping them. For example if Revan is the Sith Lord and you choose for him to kill an innocent, the Exile will try and stop you, if you choose the right response you will stop him causing no alignment gain. If you choose incorrect, both will have their own alignment gain, also causing for the good jedi to not commit the act. His character will not be allowed to start combat, and depending on who the third party member is them as well.
I can't think of anything else right know, it's almost three in the morning and I'm tired, but when I remember more I post em.
- - Also I know a decent among of the star wars universe but I'm not a diehard fan so when it comes to cannon and things like beyond the outer rim I know pretty much nothing. So tell me if there's anything I can't do.

I think they should keep Bastila Shan make a never ending game so you can roam without finishing but still have sidequests and a main. I would love it if my party members DID NOT FALL TO THE DARK SIDE OR GET STOLEN BY WOOKIES I MEAN THAT IS ANNOYING:#! Any ways Id love it if you already had KOTOR 1 that in KOTOR 2 and 3 you would be the same person with the same status so you could get to really high levels. Id like to kill random people while talking and the second last option being 'Battle' I WOULD LOVE THAT! ...It would be nice if they had every Star Wars Planet made in it and lots of dark jedi roaming. I would also like with the force 'Dominate Mind' and 'Affect Mind' and get everyone to join your party! I think they should make it all your party members can be with you at a time. It would be good if you could have lightsabre battles while riding through space on the ebon hawk. I think they shoukld make it possible to have a relationship with everybody you talk to and mkae it easier to get a relationship.
I hope Lucas Arts read this! HaHaHaHaHa

If there were a KOTOR III, I wish the gameplay and the outcome were more complex than KOTOR II and S.T.A.L.K.E.R. combined, still had the great and ever-so-nerdy storyline quality of the previous KOTORs, and the freedom to do whatever as much as GTA. I haven't actually played GTA or Shadow of Cherylnobyl.

Story:
Your a Jedi from the Exile's new Order on Coruscant. The prologue/Planet of no return involve you fighting a Battle against the last remnant of the Sith Triumvirate on some planet. After killing a few soldiers with your Soldier ally. You the final Dark Jedi who is commanding them, he puts your ally in Stasis and you have to fight him, he doesn't use any force powers, and your few don't work too well, so you go Saber-to-Saber. Eventually defeating him. (I also want of reformation of Melee-to-Melee combat, to make it longer and with more animations etc)
You are then knighted. Master Bastila then sends you on a Mission to find Revan in the Outer regions, The Jedi visits the world of Bastion in the outer Rim (at this time settled by Racist humans.) The during his/her time here, the Jedi finds that though the racist Human population is staunch in their rejection of non-humans, they are surrounded by systems populated by them. After finding out from the Leadership that the colony needs support fast, the Jedi gets hyperspace co-ordinates for nearby planets that Revan apparently visited, in exchange for offering to seek economic support. (A side quest on Muunilest will involve forging a trade deal between the worlds) Any way, you'll go around the Unknown regions looking for Revan. That's all the ideas I have.

I would also like to see free roaming environments.as for being able to attack anything it sounds like a good idea but think about it if u could attack ANYONE u might screw up the story line.and i dont think anyone said anything about this but fully customizable equipment such as the color would be nice.
