I tried that, and it just made me slow down in the higher gears... I put it in between, and changed some other settings... I was in front of the one who kept winning, and I basically just blocked him off until I won...

So you fixed the problem? Well, whatever. If you are still having problems, then just set them all to default and just win it by yourself.

Meh, I'm on to bigger and better things now...

I don't mean to sound noobish, but how exactly do you get the Wide body kit? 11 Outrun Races at the end of the game, or in Coal Harbor West, right?

My friend has a problem in the game, and I'm gonna describe it since I'm chillin' at his house.

He's playing the game, and he's found all the shops, but none of the races are coming up. He has completed stage 1 and stage 2 according to the world map, but nothings showing up.

ive done my car up as much as i can visual n performance wise but i just cant see any races or anything. i completed all the world map races n now dere is nothing. is my game stuffed?

just searching through the forums thought i might help out on a few things.
1. for those people who keep getting stuck at the end of stage 4, rachel mentions earlier that you have to build a 6 star car, you then will get the special and after that a url apears to get to stage 5 win that url. you can do it just hit the body shop(carbon), accesories and graphics shops.
2. mentioned ealier with $197 left and need to build the 6 star car. goto garage then world map, scroll through all the races and do the ones that say not completed on some you will get money.(a quick way to do races without driving around everywhere too.)
3. for the "return my car or else" rachel thingy late in the game, it has to be a glitch, just ignore it.
4.i have never had any problems with drag races, harden all the suspension and tune you car so ecu and turbo are maxed out from high rev down to low, as you will notice you hardly if ever use below 5000rpm so max out everything above that. also perfect shifts as mention earlier and nos into gears. eg 1st nos to 2nd then nos to 3rd etc. the quicker you get faster the faster you will go(hope that makes sense) if you blow up your engine(and are changing gears) goto tuning and adjust driveline for more top speed. if all the way at top speed and still blowing up, change cars or keep your eye on the temperature and back off a little.

i think im on stage three so if i beat it i will see if i can help.... did ya go to the garage and look at the sponser things. also go to stats and look at level completion and other things in stats like found shops and stuff like that

yeah i was at that part and i needed turbo but i picked ecu for some dum reason and had to go spend all my money on turbo...

ok so i guess turbo is my best bet.....what about when i have to pick from NOS, Weight or suspention.....whats the best there....and also.....r these actually "UNIQUE" or r they just the next level up FOR FREE?

im not sure i think they are just check and see if anything goes up before you buy upgrades... or i think it will tell ya its worse then your unique

Unique parts are better than level 3. I personally don't have any, but they are no use for online ranked races anyway, so they don't help out anything... Good for people who don't have Live! though.
