ok i just got to the part with the Big frigin spider mech thing...and it keeps charging me into a wall..then bam im dead...im to slow to dodge him. How can i beat this guy?

Ok - first off, which mech are you using?

If your using the mad dog do the following - Strafe left or right, as he gets closer you will avoid his pounding attacks if you timed it right, so you can get around his sides and paste his legs with your auto cannons.

If your using the Thor do the following - Strafe left or right, and as he gets close, use your jump jets to get off the ground, completly rendering his "ground pound" harmless, then if it sits there and fires plasma, strafe around him and fire at his legs (same as mad dog, except i cant remember what the Thor is armed with)

Activate your shielding if you get stuck near his mouth, and walk THROUGH the intitial direction of his plasma blast, you will take 2/3 bars of damage, but after that your home free to grab health, or blow his oversized spider brains out.

If he fires missles, head one direction until thier up close, then CHANGE direction (ie - if your going right, head left) and they will be avoided, this works at any time in the game, but helps specifically here.

I think Mad Dog is one of the best Mechs to use in this battle.

I like the thor, I just jumpjetted around most of the attacks, and killed it really quick with close range attacks

It's easier if you use the battle armor!

All you really need to do is attack the legs.

I love the little spider things personally lol.
