I know it is made by the same people as DW and that it uses a lot of the same HUD and game play features but I thought I would share the characters that are quite obviously based on some of the ones from DW.


Name: Mitsuhide Akechi
Looks Like: Zhou Yu of the Wu Clan.



Name: Kenshin Uesugi
Looks Like: Xu Huang from the Wei clan.



Name: Ranmaru Mori
Looks Like: Zhen Ji of the Wei clan



Name: Goemon Ishikawa
Looks Like: Xu Zhu of the Wei clan



Name: Nobunaga Oda
Looks Like: Cao Cao of the Wei clan



Names: Oichi & Okuni
Looks Like: The Qiao sisters from the Wu clan

Goemon Ishikawa has a much more obvious relation to Meng Huo. Just look at the face, even has paint on it, like the Nanmans.


There's an uncanny resemblance to DW characters, yes, but that's because we're looking for it so much. Anyone with a hood on, everyone automatically thinks it's Xu Huang. A fat guy, Xu Zhu. Any Bi polar maniac, Liu Zhang. With such vague descriptions we still manage to call them Dynasty Warriors, so I for one am giving Koei a break and not caring they slightly look alike.

I am in no way saying similarities are bad as they are not, far from it they had excellent characters in the DW series so why not use the ideas for this one too.

That's not flab, that's muscle. And in the game, he's only 17! I also see the resemblance to Meng Huo also. And just so you know, Ranmaru's a guy.

Yes, I swear he's a guy. He looked like a girl in history, and guys would hit on him. That kinda turned him gay. He's most famous for being...well, Nobunaga's lover. Women didn't fight in that time, and they kinda figured that it would make you fight alot harder if you were fighting side-by-side with your boyfriend.

Well where does it say all of his history I am interested to read about all the other characters.

Also, Mitsuhide Akechi looks more like Jiang Wei.

And you think about it, all of the ninja is this game look like Zhou Tai.

I say you're an idiot few of those are similarities also Oichi's character is exactly like Diao Chan in every way except physical appearance their story's are alike and so are there weapons if you think about it

Keiji reminds me alot of Lu Bu espesially in the opening video

i think that mitsuhide akechi looks like a combination of zhou yu and zhang he. i also think that lu xun looks abit like Kanetsugu Naoe and um that Noh looks like a combination of dia chan (hair) and zhen ji (face) abd um Musashi Miyamoto looks like guan ping and nene is like a combination of sun shang xiang and uh xia qiao and yukimura sanada looks like a combination of zhou yu and zhao yun and uh thats it for me
