I have a bit of a problem when I go into franchise mode and load my own custom created team. When it asks me to replace a team, I am stuck with that team's coach and home city. So if I take my homemade Duluth Eskimos franchise and replace the Chargers in the AFC West, I am stuck playing as the Duluth Eskimos in San Diego with coach Marty Schottenheimer.

This wasn't an issue in Madden 2004... Perhaps I'm doing something wrong as I'm brand new to the game.

ANy solutions, or am I screwed?

You could always move the team to Canada, or some place cool in the northern US....LOL . As for help though, I have never really tried the create-a-team thing in Franchise mode, so I cannot really help answer your question.

Im not sure how to fix it, but... Why would they let you pick your stadium in the create a team mode if you cant use it in franchise... Just check and make sure you didnt pick the chargers stadium when you created your team. I would check but i dont have my PS2 with me.(im out of town until next sunday...)

i think your screwed, ea sports did a terrible job with this game, hell you cant even turn the salary cap off this time

errm yes coz that would ruin the whole point of franchise mode! How can you say the game is terribel just coz ur unable to cheat and turn off the salary cap. Guess you wont be having a team of 99 overall rated players this year mate!

yea, you can. I think it says load team or something.. Tho you won't have that extra menu icon that lets you do the pricing on the stadium or w/e.. I never tried it in 05 but in 04 I remember my Cap was turned off.. I hate that..
