I just finished 5th season with the Carolina Panthers. We won the Super Bowl last season and now, at the start of my 6th season, several of my starter players have low morale. My starting QB, HB, and top 2 WR. They are starters, have high overall ratings, great contracts, and just won a Super Bowl. What is causing this? Will it effect thier play ability? Thanks.

Could be a number of reasons. Have you traded anyone recently? Have you released anyone significant? Have you drafted anyone good who is at those positions?

alright i just started season 2 and i had to trade 2 or 3 guys and i guess a couple of them were icons so it brought my morale down....how do u bring your morale back up?

my quaterback rex grossman has a low morale because he doesnt get enough playing time beacause i picked up eli manning on free agency and i drafted a new quaterback justin swanson at the beggining of the off season

Trade him. If you have a player who has low morale he is just hurting the team so trade him if you have 2 better QB's.

Yea if you have a good or even decent player and they dont get much playing time they are lickly to complain.

he gets alot of playin time well skittles u seen my diary in 06 thomas jones scored almost all my touchdowns

Well i thought we were talking about Madden 2005 here because that is the forum we are in. Anyway if he plays a lot then he should be happy.

trading and releasing do this. signing contracts and not trading for a few weeks and it will go up.

When ever i trade someone during season morale goes down. I up the pay on a few icons and every goes back to happpy.
P.S. Why do people care during season and not preseason for trading | |
