just yesterday i had a kickoff return touchdown! it was a pretty bad kick though but im still happy about it. i alos got like three punt return touchdowns yesterday. (i was in the zone yesterday) anyway, what i do is run forward for awhile to get some of the other teams players being blocked by your players and then gun it to the right or left. if u see too many players on that side, then try to find a path the other way. gun it to the sideline and then go straight for the endzone.

Yeah, sometimes the best thing is to hang back and let the blocks develop then shoot to the open hole. When I first got the game I went full speed and sometimes beat my blockers, not going anywhere like that.

I myself have only had 1 kick return touchdown. Waiting for blocks to develop is the best strategy. Punt returns however i find quite easy because i use ahmad carrol to return punts he has a speed of 98. I get myself 5-6 punt return tds a year by going right side or left and letting the defense follow then jet the opposite direction and try to beat the defense down the sideline.

i use Dre' Bly and he has gotten me a bunch of punt return touchdowns. in one game, i got three punt return touchdowns with him. it was awesome.

Kickoffs are hard as hell but I get a fair amount of Punt Returns. I usually slant towards the side lines to draw players that way and then cut back and shoot through the middle where most of my blockers are. It's takes some luck but you can shoulder charge through 1 or 2 guys and then have a clear path to the endzone.

I always do return middle and just follow my blockers up the middle. On Madden 06 it is way easier to return the ball on kickoffs.
