My friend went to Japan just 2 days ago and he found out that the DMC anime is going to be airing in Japan soon!

My friend also wouldn't lie to me about this either, and he's in JAPAN for god's sake, the source of all this. If he can get some more info of this from a magazine, I'll ask him to scan it for me and sent it back to Canada. There's a manga (3 volumes), a comic (3 out of 4 volumes), a novel (1 of 2), 4 soon to be 5 games, and now an anime.

wrong there will be a movie in 2007 not an anime and capcom will be be directing it and theres no anime or manga cause my friend is japanese
