	Well since the character would have to have a weapon and guns don't count, I'd say either Marth or Roy from the Fire Emblem series. Since they both carry swords they'd fit the role perfectly. -------------------

	Samus Aran, she could use just her grapple (like in ssbm) as a whip and i think she would kick a** in this game... If not, then i would have to say Marth or Roy... Marth would fit in better i think...
