Wow, the new 2005 forum.
It can only mean that the next season will soon be here. Practices are underway now, but come september... I wonder how many game I will have won by then...? 2 questions: How long will you be able to play for in Dynasty mode? Any difference in controls? PS and one more: Will the conference scheduals be carved in stone? Or will they rotate? (PPS, I guess) Oh yeah, and what about the new Bowl System? Though it won't take effect until the real 2005 season, (NCAA 2006,then?), I heard that there will be a plus-one sort of bowl system. Where all the traditional BCS bowls are played- Fiesta, Sugar, Rose, Orange, and then there will be a "National Championship Game" that will be held at one of the 4 main sites, and rotate just like it did before, going to one every 4 years. I'm sure that won't happen untill next year... but still, good to know and ask about. i'm concerned with that conference schedule as well. we(tennessee) don't play auburn or miss. state every year, but i was forced to do so last year. on another note, does anyone know what the rankings look like? i've seen rankings from multiple publications, but the only teams that are in the same positions are the top 3: USC, OU, and UGA.

This year it would be better, though, for Nebraska anyways.
I would much rather play Oklahoma every year than only being able to do so in the Big 12 Championship (like in last years game) (Those SOBs in Big 12 South are trying to take all the power out of the north, that's why the NU/OU seies is now sparingly everyother year. The Big 12 Champ. game isn't even in a Big 12 city any more, is it? It's all a ploy to undermine the North.) This message was edited by Colonel Option II on Jul 06 2004.

Well, to answer my own question, I think I saw that the conference shcedules will rotate.
That will be nice, I think. I wonder, though, if you will still have the same conference shcedule weeks though. You know, you have different teams, but you will always have your conference games on the same weeks. It probably won't be too big of a deal, I guess that generally the conference games are later on, but Nebraska had it's first conference on opening day last year, and though not the case this year, it's still notable. This sort of leads into my other thing. It was weird, "reading" the SI issue after my week 2 conference win and seeing "The second season begins", implying that the conference shcedule begins. Apparently, they are really re-working the SI and trying to make it improvements. Last year was good, but there were some bugs with the SI since it was the first year it was used. Oh well, I guess you should expect that... Hmm.... I guess I should expect that with Nebraska... This message was edited by Colonel Option II on Jul 07 2004.

What's up guys. I'm glad everybody is finally getting on board. I posted the 1st thread in June & I was starting to believe nobody was interested in this game.
Anyway, NCAA ships 6/12/04. My local EBX said it should be in 6/13/04. ------------------- You'd stand silent if you ni**as knew me, truly infected. The sh#t you heard don't do me justice. Got a death wish, bitch. (Makaveli, Life of an Outlaw)

Yeah its great to see everybody that I argued over BCS and all that other stuff last year on how LSU is better than USC is here again this year.
Although even I doubt it maybe LSU can go back to back. LSU "The Real National Champions"

I went to the EA Sports website today, and on the main page, they had a new "mini-game" in the middle of the page, where you are put in specific situations in NCAA 2005, and you have to pick from a choice of 3 plays, as to which one you want to pick. It was pretty sweet, and when you do it, your also seeing new gameplay footage.

quote ECWForeverlsu won't even repeat as sec champs, let alone national champs. as crazy as this may sound, i expect the sec title game to be auburn vs. uga. lsu's front 7 simply isn't as good as they were last year, and i don't know if they can stop auburn's running game. my money is on usc to win it all -- that's assuming they actually take care of business against cal. the pac-10 is a joke of a conference, so the trojans will likely be the only undefeated team in the nation. of course, i may change my tune once the season gets rolling. who knows how these teams will actually play. ------------------- Rocky Top...you'll always be Home sweet home to me Good ol Rocky Top Rocky Top, Tennessee

Since this is a GD forum, I figured I'd ask this question here.
I want to update my rosters with names other than seeing QB #12 and such on my rosters. So I'm looking to get a USB keyboard for my PS2. Will any computer USB keyobard work for it or must I get one made for PS2?

as far as I know any USB keyboard works. I have a wireless Keyboard for my PS2. I am just gonna wait until ps2rosters.com has the rosters up and send my memory card to them. Save me the time of changing

re: General Discussion |
quote SmilezDavisYou can never predict anything in college football. Auburn last year was supposed to be a contender for the National Championship and they did zilch last year. Although LSU lost a lot of great atheletes this last year. The one positive is Saban played a bunch of people. He substitues a lot. I think almost every freshmen last year that wasnt red shirted got some play time which is good. It is gonna be hard to replace a leader like Matt Mauck or an all around gifted athelete like Michael Clayton or one of the nations best defenseive lineman Chad Lavalais or a gaurd such as Stephen Petermen. Saban knows how to get things done and I wouldnt put anything past him. I could have never predicted that Saban would win us a National Championship in just his 4th year. Especially after the set back in 2002. You never know though I think it is time for a new dynasty in college football and maybe the Dynasty can be down in the bayou.
