Couldn't find a proper thread to talk about games you just have to brag about, so made a new thread. I play on Heisman difficulty, and it is quite tough to win, but after adjusting the sliders (mostly giving myself all advantages, otherwise I get blown out) I found my balance between myself and the AI and have just played the best game of my life. Yesterday morning I used my created team (juggernaut-class with a created QB) and went up against FSU in Doak Campbell and played, until today, the best game I ever played. After trading touchdowns early I went into the second half 7-7 and couldn't get anything going, as FSU scored late in the 3rd to go up 14-7. That's how it remained until about two and a half minutes left in the 4th when I charged down the field and tied it at 14. Hoping to just hold FSU off I went back on my Dime defense and the first play in... picked it off and ran in for a touchdown (well my AI defensive counterpart picked it off, I control the nickel back, not the outside corners). Badabing 21-14. FSU's next possession with a minute and a half left they go back to pass, ball bounces off their receiver and I come straight off my man and dive down to get an interception. I went 3 and out as they called timeouts but I managed to punt the ball out of bounds at their 4 yard line as they couldn't get anyhting going with the short amount of time they had. I win 21-14...

... that WAS my best game, remember. The one I just played topped them all, topped any football struggle I've ever had with any football game. It was my created team playing at... my created team Was testing how even I balanced the game between myself and the AI, and it became apparent to me that it was quite balanced as this game went on, and on, and on.

It started off by me charging down the field using my usual running plays and going for weak parts of the defense, taking up over 5 minutes of my 7 minute quarters as I went in for the touchdown. After exchanging punts I kicked a 51 yard field goal with 2:44 left in the first half. Unfortunately the first play of scrimmage on my AI's possession afterwards, they threw a 65-yard touchdown, something that I'll be seeing more of as the game went further. Second half started with me up 10-7 and hoping to hold on to the lead, which I didn't for long as right away my opponent threw a 76-yard touchdown pass, bah humbug. After I went 3 and out and was losing 14-10, the first play for my opponent after my punt was... a 52-yard touchdown pass. That got annoying as I'm now down 21-10 with 4:54 left in the 3rd.

After the string of three long bombs by my doppleganger opponent (they often used my speedy QB against me, hahaha) I charged down the field again and on a 4th and goal from the 8 yard line, threw a rare touchdown (passing is quite difficult, as has been mentioned). 21-17 for my opponent. Okay, in the middle of the 4th quarter now and my strategy has changed to going into my opponent's side of the field, trying to get to the 35 yard line, and going for two field goals before the game ended. Unfortunately that strategy was sqaushed as my opponent squeaked in a 41 yarder over the right post after I had gotten greedy and tried to run for a touchdown instead of my field goal plan, and fumbled the ball back to them. Now I'm down by a touchdown with 2:36 left in the 4th. I couldn't get anything going after the kickoff so I punt in with two minutes left. My opponent punted it back to me and with a minute left I charged back down the field using my abilities with my QB in forcing the secondary one way and me running to the empty field. I scored a touchdown with 19 seconds left to tie the game at 24-all. In my final effort to score in regulation when I called a timeout with 3 seconds left as they punted it back to me, I ran it back 30 yards... and got stopped at midfield. To OT we go!

Now I'm getting a bit nervous. It's very hard for me to score touchdowns, so I kept up with my secondary pulling strategies and it worked out for my first OT drive, getting a 13-yard TD run. Now all I have to do is hold my equal opponent off from getting a touchdown, which they didn't do since early in the 3rd with their long bombs. Unfortunately, they once again used my created QB against me as he kept scrambling and ran in for a 7-yard TD. 31-31 going into 2OT. My opponent's ball first and he once again ran for a 7-yard TD with the QB, and now the pressure is really on me down by 7. On a 4th and long, and managed to complete a wild pass that bounced off my opponent's CB and into the hands of my receiver as he was going out of bounds right at the first down marker. This game is crazy. I do a couple running plays and on a 3rd and goal from the 1, I run it in with my RB and get the extra point to tie it at 38. Okay, my ball again as we start 3OT and my anxiety caught up to me as I started pressing the wrong buttons on my first play and I screwed up and got sacked for a 10-yard loss. I completed my second pass to make up for the lost yards, and then completed another for a first down. At about the 12 yard line I do a running play and gain maybe a couple yards, but then my heart almost stopped as on second down as I was scrambling towards the goal line, my QB lost the ball and it slowly trickled safely out of bounds. Whoosh. I gain the first down at the 2 and run it in with my FB. Then I realized that I have to go for a 2-point conversion now, so I used my similar secondary pull tactic, and the linebackers bit on it too as I ran it in for a conversion. 46-38 me. Opponent's turn and they quickly get back at me and do a RB direct snap and run it in for a 7-yard TD. 48-46 me and now all I have to do is stop the 2-point conversion. I pick the 5-2 formation and have my linebacker blitz through the middle, which was just what I needed as my opponent picked a running play. I, controlling the LB, charged right through the O-Line and picked off the runner just as he got the ball. Game Over, 48-46 in 3OT against my doppleganger. I just had to write this down, hahaha. I'm proud of myself. I'm so fortunate the game never froze on me like I expected it would do sometime in OT. Oh, and I ran for 387 yards and threw for 87. However I figure that once I start using teams that don't have such a fast QB, I won't stand a chance.

But my current greatest games, is the Orange Bowl championship, Texas vs Tennesee. I am Texas, and this is the first season.

I had a terrible start, giving up two big plays to Tennesee. On their first two drives they got around 80 yard passing touchdowns. Just terrible secondary, and I just felt slow. And on my first drive I missed about a 35 yard FG, just barely to the right. So I went into the half down 14-0, with 3 interceptions.

After the half, I came back rejuvenated. On my first drive with my running game was able to drive about 85 yards to the touchdown, mostly on my two runningbacks. I was down 14-7. After that it was the end of the 3rd quarter. A lot of 3 and outs by both teams, that lead to a punt in that 3rd quarter.

At the start of the 4th quarter, I had the ball. Drove about 50 yards, but went 3 and out at about the 39 yard line. Too far to kick, too close to punt. So I decided to go for it and try a risk. Incomplete. On their first play, they threw the ball, INTERCEPTION, ran back for about a 50 - yard TD. With the score tied 14-14, looking like it is going into overtime. Tennesee drove the ball up field about 35 yards, and with 58 seconds left to go in the game, 3rd and 8, threw the ball to the left side of the field, INTERCEPTION. Drove the ball up the field with my running game, and a little bit of passing to get in the middle of the field on the 13 yard line, with 4 seconds left in the game. My kicker took a 30 yard kick, and split the uprights, leading our time to Victory 17-14, over Tennesee in the National Championship Game.

not quite as impressive as the games mentioned above, but here is my greatest game:

I was Michigan playing at Notre Dame in my second game of the season (and the second game i had played of 05)

I played very well defensively, holding there offense to 6 points in 3 quarters. (two fieldgoals) My offense was great one drive, horrible the next for the whole game. I had scored two touchdowns through the air, but thrown three INTs (2 returned for TDs, oops) so going into the 4th quarter its 20-14 notre dame. we exchange punts for the first several possetions, then there is about 2 mins left on the clock, i have 4th and short in the redzone and blow the play, game over i think...

But my defense isnt done yet. They come out and stop the first two run plays for negative yards, i save my time outs. its 3rd and long, with the clock running down. They call a fake hand off and their #1 reciever toasts my CB, wide open 5 yards past the first down marker. The quarterback throws the ball a little too far towards the middle of the field, and my saftey is able to tip the ball away. i call a time out with a little over a min left in the game.

I receive the punt on the 50 and have to call a fair catch. I have a minute and a few seconds to drive 50 yards with 2 timeouts left, shouldnt be a problem. first down, pass to the right, tipped at the last second by the DB. second down, pass to the left, dropped by the WR. third down, my TE is open over the middle, complete pass for 15 yards and a first down, but its called back on a holding call. so now its 4th and 20 with about 45 secs left. i set up in the shotgun and cross my fingers. the D falls back in a loose man coverage, but no one can get open. finally i have to get rid of the ball so i throw to the left, praying the ball doesnt get tipped. of course the ball is tipped, striaght up in the air. the DB and WR are laying on the ground watching the ball fly up in the air. then my slot reciever, who had run a shorter route, comes running up and grabs the ball out of mid air and sprints to the 5 yard line. I run to the one yard line as the clock winds down. i punch the ball in with 5 seconds left on the clock, game tied 20-20. all i have to do is make the extra point to win. but i screw up the kick and miss the extra point wide left.

So we wind up going into over time, and Notre Dame has the ball first. for some reason my defense decided not to show up for the first play and they pass to the three yard line. Then my D finds the field and stops the running play behind the line, second and goal from the 5. I blitz the next play and sack the QB, third and goal at the 17. The next play i cant get to the QB and he lobs a ball to the back of the endzone, caught, but out of bounds. Notre Dame settles for a field goal.

So i take the field and decide to turn to the only thing that has worked consitantly in the game, my ground attack. I call a dive right, but the D sees it coming, I only gain 2 yards. 2nd and 8. Next i call a play-action pass, and i dont fool anyone, but my HB is open in the flat on the right for a 5 yard gain, 3rd and 3. then i call an option Left, the QB meets the D at the 1st down marker and tosses it out to the RB. the RB jukes the CB, then spins around the saftey and there is no one between him and the endzone. TD.

Final score, Michigan 26, Notre Dame 23.

I was playing my created team (Whatsamatta U) ranked 6th against USC ranked 4th in the Orange Bowl. I was not very confident, my QB was rated C+ with not much composure. My two RBs were Avg. One was not too fast but was strong and never fumbled, the other was fast but could not break a tackle. My receivers were fast but with no composure. Did have one with 94 speed and good composure.

Started the game conservative, when I play a team that I know is better than me I concentrate on field position, but this one was not going to go that way. They had a linebacker who could beat any of my players to the corner. Could not run around or through them. Even when I thought I had called the right play against their D I didn't get anything. They were just too fast. When I did try to throw I didn't have the time to let anything develop. I only completed 5 passes the first half for a total of 15 yards. Had 10 yards rushing at the half also. I was able to hold them to 45 total yards for the half and had 1 interception.


Second half started the same way. I was bound and determined to run on them. My biggest run came on a 3rd and 2 on my 35. In goal line formation I ran a FB blast up the middle and he broke it for 24 yards. I then was able to hit one long pass play, PA pass where I had my top receiver run a fly pattern (hot route). They had been playing a bit of zone so I was hoping the corner would drop off for the safety to come over. When the corner stopped I was able to hit him. The put me at the 8. From there it was just run plays up the middle and I had a 7-0 lead. But then it happens, they come back and hit 4 passes in a row. The first caught me in a blitz that went for 30+ yards. But the thing that was killing me was their QB. Whenever they had a 3rd down that sucker would roll out and take off around the corner. I could not catch him. Thats what cost me in the red zone. Had em 3rd and goal from the 9, he just drops back and tucks it and around the corner he goes. Now 7-7. They kick and I go 3 and out. They start at their 45. First play the QB drops back, I have a LB blitz on. He scrambles and then just takes off again. I am screaming at the screen. He goes for a 50+ yard jaunt. I mean he is making moves that I can only dream about. Whos doing the frigging AI for this thing Barry Sanders?!!

Next thing I know I am down 14-7 with less than 3 minutes in the 4th QTR. Amazingly I am able to answer them and even it up at 14-14. I hold them to two first downs and they punt. My possession at my 18. I am able to hit a couple passes and am moving the ball pretty good. I get to their 40 and stall. It is 4th and 3 with 1:35 to go. I go for a fake punt, direct snap to the back. I would swear that I didn't get it but the game says I did. I then hit one pass for about 15 and from there I am able to run it in. It is 21-14 with 1:05 to go. They only have one time out left. They start at their 21. And once again their QB starts putting a hurting on me. I am knocking down every pass with my corners, but every time I think I have them he breaks a run for a first down.

By this point I am shadowing him with my LB but still cant contain him. Then he hits a pass to a receiver going across the middle. I hit him with my corner but he doesn't go down. He heads down the left sideline and I am praying that someone is going to come into the picture to try to catch him. My top corner (name is Milton, I have to give the kid his recognition who is 96 speed and 99 ovr) knocks him outa bounds at the 1. I kid you not, at the frigging 1. So with about 30+ seconds they are first and goal at the 1 with no timeouts. Their fist play I run goal line TAKE. When I see that they have no receivers I audible to goal line ALL BlITZ, hope that I can delay their TE's enough in case they try pass. They run a left side option. I hit the QB immediately. Now they are doing quicksnap so they should be running the same play each time. I hit him each time. 4th down and he gets the pitch off but I hit the back at the 3 and its my ball. I have it with 18 secs at the 3. Whoooohoo. At the end of the game their QB had 102 yards rushing....most of it in the second half.

Well I just had another great game last night, even though it ranked only 4th on my list.

I was Texas Longhorns playing against the Ohio State Buckeyes in my season.

The Buckeyes just ran up the score on me in the first 3 quarters. It just doesn't make sense describing it, because they just put a beating on me scoring, 7 points in the first and 3rd quarter, and 10 points in the 2nd quarter. And I scored 7 points in the second quarter. So I was down 24-7 in the beginning of the 4th quarter.

Well at the end of the third quarter I was on a long drive and was able to bring it to the 1 yard line when the quarter ended. So at the beginning of the 4th quarter, I just slammed it in with my RB, to bring the score to 24-14. After playing tremendous defense, was able to intercept the ball with my Defensive Captain/Starting CB #8, and brought it in for a 24 yard interception return for a touchdown. Score is now 24-21 with 4:12 remaining in the game. After the other teams drive, I was able to force them to punt the ball, and had a great return and was able to bring it back to my 40 yard line. First play, a play action pass, to my #1 WR, WR #4, for about a 32 yard pass, to the 28 yard line. The defensive put up 2 stops to my RB for no gain, and an incomplete pass. Kicked a 45 yard field goal, which barely made it, to tie the game 24-24 with 1:44 seconds left.

On the opponents drive, I forced 2 incomplete passes and got 1 sack, and forced the punt, with 59 seconds remaining. I returned the punt return to about midfield. Threw a great pass across the middle, with about 35 seconds remaining. I ran two run plays up the middle (which gained big yardage), to center the kick, to about the 14 yard line. With those two run plays I ran the clock down to 11 seconds, and Ohio State called a timeout. I kicked the field goal, and was able to force 2 incomplete passes from Ohio State to end the game, 27-24. With an amazing comeback in the 4th quarter.

Miami Vs G-Tech i was miami #2 in the country against g-tech about 35 at the time i was iundefeated 4-0 n they were 3-2 now i should have blown this team out but i played sloppy i scored on a berlin to ryan moore touchdown in the 1st 7-0 um they got a field goal 7-3 um alrite w.e for the good stuff im mean great stuff it was 14-10 um i was controlling the whole game by the way i play like a real man 8 min qt on the heisman level i dont touch any of the sliders well anyway i just couldnt put this team away it was late about a min to go they were on my 15 after a punt i int a pass i ran it 3 times they called 3 tos i kicked it alrite 17-10 35 secs left i kick it they return it to the 41 alrite i havbe the num 1 d i def can stop them 2-10 i was in zone the qb just bombs the ball to a reciver n he ends up catchinh it at the 11 the hurry n spike it20 sec left after 2 incompletes the qb throws it deflects off my lbs hands in rite into the hans of the reciver at the 2 n runs in the endzone to ot we go i mean this was the best ot ever. i won the toss i go on d the end up scoring on a 3 yd run i go rite backtouchdown berlin to the tight end everret i thought about goin for 2 but no way i was to scared.ight now i have confidence 1st play of the next series i get the ball again i do a slant to evereet again he catches it at the 2 but gets poped n fumbles it at the 1 omg i was going crazy i couldnt believe i was goin to lose to g-tech so neway the run it n im in all out blitz to try n push tem back so it ends up 4-9 at the 24 a 41 yd fg now the fd kicker had missed a 40 yd badly he wasn a good kicker sop i called a to to ice him ight so they set up right has mark i put my controller down went in the next room volume all the way up cant stand to watch i hear the call"the kick is up n wide right!!!he missed it omg i jumped around my house like a mad man he missed it bad as i saw the rplay he got cold feet neway the get the ball back 1st play i int it omg i gonna win yes!! no as i set up a 42 yd fg i miss it to the left i messed up the accuracy hittin it late barledy omg i cant stand this next serires i hit a 42 yd fg perfect ight they come back 22 yd fg barley main it ight 27-27 4 ot the go for a 39 yd kcik call timeout leave the room i hear the call the kcik ohhhhh it hits the post no good yes!!! ight i need just a fg so i get 5 yd run and a 7 yd pass ight i line it up rite in the middle i kcik it you know what never thought i could happen they blocked it!!!!!!no way no way!!!!!the corner came on the backside n blocked it but u know what he was offsides so i get a chance again arrow as high as possble bam hit it i win undefeat greatest game it was giver a 1102 socre nyce what u thinmk

I just finished an awesome game against Florida State.I was a created team called the Texas A&M Tech Mustangs.

FSU got an early 6-0 lead off of two field goals.My D was really weird in this game,they would drive down the field but once they were in the Redzone they couldn't do anything. Then I threw a interception and they returned it for a TD.So now they were up 13-0.With aruond 2 minutes left in the first half I got an interception and was takled at the FSU 30 yard line.I was able to score a TD with the good field position.So at halftime it was 13-7.]

FSU recieved to start the second half and started out at the 20 yard line. On there first play they threw the ball about 30 yards in the air to the 50, my guy tipped it right to their reciever who had amazing speed and he scored a TD. So now it was 20-7.Nothing happened after that in that quarter exept for the very last play of the quarter.I had driven down the field and was around the FSU 30 yard line. They brought a Saftey blitz and hit me right when I threw it and they picked it off and returned it for a TD, to end the quarter.

To start the fourth quarter I got to the FSU 45 and had a 4th and 4. Sadly I didn't convert it. So now there was about 4 minutes left and I thought that it was over.On there first play they threw an interception and I returned it to like the 20 or something. On the next play I threw it to the endzone and my receiver came up with it in double coverage!FSU had a 3 and out on there next poosession and punted the ball a good 50 yards but I had an awesome 40 yard return.My first play was a HB screen for a huge 25 yard gain then I punched it in, on a couple of gives to the Fullback.On FSU's next possession. They had another 3 and out.But this time on the punt I blocked it!And they dove on it and the 12 yard line. I got it in the endzone with 13 ticks on the clock left and won 28-27!

Ohhhh man. I am starting to post this as the game goes on. I am playing as Hawaii and I am playing at Oklahoma (in normal exhibition), and in my usual Heisman mode. I am a solid runner in this game and a poor passer, but Hawaii has mainly passing formations. I started off the game passing and actually did rather well, passing for 67 yards on my first drive and running it in 4 yards to go up 7-0. Oklahoma countered with a field goal with :23 left in the 1st quarter (in 7 minute quarters). Oklahoma got another field goal in the second quarter as well and we went into halftime at 7-6, Hawaii. Oklahoma got the ball first in the third quarter but I forced them to go three and out. I slowly charged down the field, killing as much time as I could, and I wound up running the ball in from one yard out go up 13-6 with :34 left in the 3rd. Instead of going for the extra point, I decided to try to get a 2-point conversion to make Oklahoma have to score twice in the last quarter, but I couldn't run it in and it remained 13-6. Late in the 4th quarter, Oklahoma marched down the field, but I got them in a 4th and goal predicament; they passed the ball, it bounced off a couple of my own players on the right side of the endzone, and the ball bounced high into the air and an Oklahoma receiver screeched across the endzone and caught it, and the game was tied 13-13 with 1:29 left in the last quarter.

From there, I managed to march down the field, completing key passes and getting to the Oklahoma 35 yard line. I ran some plays in order to kill off time, but Oklahoma called a timeout with 8 seconds left. I attempted a 52 yard field goal, it was heading right down the middle, but I knew I didn't get all of it. It was going... going... schtoink! It hits the freaking horizontal crossbar and bounces back into the endzone. So with 3 seconds left now in a 13-13 game, I need to stop Oklahoma from doing any sort of hail mary, and we'll go into overtime (where I have a feeling I'll lose in there). Ha, sacked the Oklahoma QB on that last play of regulation. OT time baby, I'll update as it goes.

Oklahoma won the toss and decided to play on defense. My first play was an 18 yard completion, sweet. 1st and goal and I'm going to try to pound the ball in by running. Touchdown on that first running play, hahaha. Extra point good and I'm up 20-13. OU up and their first play was a 2-yard loss on a running play. Next play was an 11 yard gain on the ground and it's 3rd and 1. I blitzed on 3rd down but they passed, but the QB missed his mark. 4th and 1 and I need to hold to beat #2 OU, playing as a weaker Hawaii team with a poor running game. Nuts they converted, haha. 1st and Goal on the 6. They get a touchdown and extra point. 20-20.

2OT time and I'm on defense. They went for the endzone right away but I controlled the safety and knocked it away. Next play I come in on a crash right blitz (I always control the nickelback or the ROLB if there's no 3rd CB in there), and sack the QB for a 5 yard loss, Hawaii's 7th sack of the game. 3rd and 15. On third down my defensive line busted in and got another sack! 4th and 20 from the 35 and OU's going for it! I need a big stop here, and I never get big stops when I need them. INCOMPLETE! Hell, I'm just running it and going for the field goal. Since starting at the 25, it's a lot harder to screw up the distance for the field goal. YES! I do two running plays and get a first down, including an offsides penalty. I'm on their 10, right near the middle of the hash marks, and I'm going for the field goal right now. GAME OVER! 23-20, I beat Oklahoma as Hawaii! I hope they rank it as a User Greatest Game. Hey, it said it was the #1 Greatest Game of all time with a score of 771.

In the first quarter nobody scored.OSU started the game by driving down the field to like my 20 yard line, but they threw an interception at the 8 yard line.So now my drive started. I drove to about midfield before I threw an interception.After the interception there was hardly any time left in the first quarter.

In the second quarter I was the one to strike first.They had the ball inside the 10 yard line and were punting.I was barly able to block it. They jumped on it in the endzone for a saftey! 2-0 Mustangs. The non there next possession they punted again and I blocked it again. They jumped on it at the 21 yard line. But on the next play I threw an interception.They drove down the field and kicked a field goal with about a minute left.On my drive I threw another interception and they returned it to the 14 yard line with 3 seconds left so they kicked a field goal and made. So at halftime it was 6-2 Buckeyes.

In the third quarter I had another turnover but this one was a fumble. They recovered at the 10 yard line.OSU threw back to back incomplete passes so now it was third and goal. I knew that I had to stop them here to hold them to a field goal so taht they would only be up by a Touchdown. So on the play I had 2 guys break free of the O-Line and they were headed for the QB so I tried to swicth to one so I could dive and try to sack the QB before he threw the ball but he already had and I swicthed to a cornerback and dove leaving the Reciever wide open fo the score.13-2.

On my opening drive of the fourth quarter I drove down the field and scored a TD in less than a minute. I went for 2 since I was down by 5 so that I could get within 3.But the 2 point conversion failed and I was down 13-8. OSU had a 3 and out so I had the ball with lots of time to make a drive. This drive was way longer than the first.I had a third and inches on the OSU 21. I scarmbled for the firstdown and more getting to the 3 yard line. But Holding was called so it went back.Now on 3rd and 10 they brought a massive blitz and sacked me before I could do anything. On fourth down I was scarmling looking for a reciever but no one was open and I was about to get sacked so I just threw to the quickest butten I could push and it was pickked off at the 1 yard line! There was about 35seconds left when theOSU offence took the field and on their first play they fumbled! The ball bounced out of the endzone for a saftey!13-10.On the safty kick I had a huge return to the OSU 32 yard line!The first play was a HB screen play one of my favorite ones and it got a 12 yard gain.I ran it again and got a 15 yard gain to the 5 yard line.On the next play I gave it to the FullBack and he got 4 yards. I called my last timeout with about 13 seconds left. I did a triple option play and gave it to the fullback and he powered his way in for a Touchdown.The extra point was good and I won 17-13.

I have blownout many teams, but have never had a greatest game. So I'm guessing to have a greatest game, it would have to be a close game. All my games are blowouts...

Nebraska got 13 points on me, then I got about 90 points and won it. I'll have to be a crappy team and face a great team to have any.

Or you can rev up the difficulty to Heisman and have a blast. Games are more tense and fun when playing a really tough AI opponent.

i won't be as detailed as the others here. it was so long ago i don't remember all of the details anyway. it was for the national title. i was tennessee, of course, and i was playing ohio state for i think the 3rd straight year. they held me to a field goal through the 1st 3 quarters. i went into the 4th quarter down 21-3. i finally managed to get into the endzone after a very long drive. i picked off osu's 1st pass on the next drive, and i took it back. i held them to a 3 & out on their next drive. when i got the ball back i ran it right down their throats. i scored with basically no time left. final score 24-21.

I just played my greatest game last night. It was UCLA(me) vs. Oregon State(com) on Heisman difficulty. Basically it was my great rushing offense against their awesome passing attack, which was odd because OSU didn't seem like they had a great passing game. For the first half, I used a lot of tricks, screen passes to WRs and HB #21, and options. But everytime I scored, OSU would get a drive in which they marched 70 yards with only four yard pass plays. I couldn't stop them. On my last possession, I was down by three in the 4th quarter, my HB broke through for a 60 yard run and got out of bounds with :03 left. My kicker barely made the 19 yard FG to go to OT. The same strategies for both sides carried over to the 1st and 2nd overtimes, until OSU missed a FG in the 3rd OT. I just ran three goalline rushing plays with my fullback and kicked the game winner! The player of the game was HB 21 with 39 carries and 362 yards rushing!

I just played my uncle in the first game of the regular season. I was WVU #19 and he was Marshall #59.

I'm not near the PS2 to check it, but I was ahead at halftime with a whopping 22 to 14 (seeing as how he was good at sport games). I hadn't played it in awhile and was cocky, saying "You might still make it to the Bowl with me at the end, with one loss."

In the third quarter he came back, making it 29 to 20. It wasn't worried, until the fourth quarter came and he made the score: 29 to 26 with 12 seconds left. He made a miraculous return and got within field goal range. Making an easy field goal, we went into OT.

Into OT he went first, making a touchdown to make it 37 to 29. I used the play I was most familiar with, the option. I made my way to the 5 yard line, and 3 yards away. I had picked the option and wondered, hot route left or right. I just needed 5 yards and then I could easily get the two points and try to make it a draw (knowing he could make a TD). He had the guy he controlled (a MLB) on the left, but I could easily outrun him. It decided to go right, and hiked the ball. But I immediantly saw the two men break through and go for my QB. I tried to pitch it to my speedy HB, but the man had already wrapped me up.

The game was ranked 801 in greatness, and WVU started out the first game of the season, 0-1, knocking them back to 30, and placing Marshall at 56.
