This game is everything from the DC version and more. Nearly all the DC characters are back, Hwang, Rock and Lizardman an exception (you fight Lizardman once in the weapons master quest tho')

The graphics have'nt improved that much, background wise (you could'nt get any better than the DC graphics) but there are more details on the fighters. Spawn's crap, but for the more keen fighter, he can use projectile moves. Most of the features from Soul Blade is back, with the exception of Critical Edge.

Hey, Jaycee here. I was one of the first members, if not the first member, to post in this forum.

I've had the Japanese PS2 version for about a week now, and my girlfriend and I have played it to death.

We've unlocked everything, and we have the title of "Grand Edgemaster of the Basilisk" in Weapon Master mode.

I was a bit disappointed with the game.

Anyway, here are my thoughts about the game.

I've been told that aside from the exclusive characters, all three versions are almost identical. That would mean that my review could also be of some interest to those who own Microsoft's black box.
