would you rather have the xbox,gamecube or the ps2 version of Soul Calibur 2. Also does anyone know anyone else who got the ps2 version. Heihachi is so lame especially when you can get Spawn or Link.

Spawn... is good. Link... is cool but doesn't really fit in. And I want a big axe! Spawn, I thinks, is the choice for me.

I peronally would much rather the Xbox version. The PS2 version's loading and saving times are about twice as long as the 'Box's. Can't really comment about the GCN version, though... I think I would rather Spawn than Link, h/o.

I always go for the version with the best features/graphics. Spawn all the way.

Well each version has the same graphics. I got the gc version because I'm a Zelda fan so I'm obligated to get any game with link in it. The loading time is about a splitsecond difference between all consoles and it doesn't really affect gameplay. When you think about it none of the special characters fit in all that well. I like link the best but each version is good just because it is Soul Calibur 2. The special characters are not all that important.

I thought the Xbox version looked better than the PS2 version. The subtle differences are big issues when theres not much seperating the two. I havn't seen the Gamecube version yet. But I'm assuming the Gamecube version won't look any better than Xbox. The Xbox version can run in 780p if you have HDTV, so it does have an added feature.

Gamecube version has 525p during Progressive scan mode. I still wouldn't call higher resolution an extra.

Well if you own a HDTV it would most certainly have an influence on your decision. It's an important factor that is often overlooked when cross-comparisons are made.

I have an HDTV but I think the most important factor is which console you have That's the biggest reason why I didn't get the Xbox version. I don't have an Xbox. But be that as it may The resolution barely makes any difference in between games. hardly enough to call it better. It may be a reason to pick one version over another but it's not like any gameplay is being sacrificed.

Well I always thought gameplay was exactly the same across all versions. Resolution may not be important to you but it is an important factor to me. I own a PS2 aswell and the difference is pretty clear to me.
