Everytime you get an Element, you go to the Elemental Senctuary in the castle. First you got to get 2 Elements: Fire and Earth. Then you can clone in 2 Links. When you get one more, you'll be able to clone 3 Links and after the fourth, you'll get 4 Linko's!! ^______^

I dont think you can. I've tried but it never worked. But maybe you can if there is only 2 or 3 of those colored tiles though.

Alright, so I went back and tried it in a couple of areas and it does appear that you can't clone into only 2 or 3 versions of yourself once you have the Four Sword. I didn't try in any places with less than four panels though, so I don't know if it is possible in places like that.

To clone yourself, you have to find special tiles and charge your sword-the Four Sword I believe-on them while moving to each panel and producing a copy or "clone".
You'll know the tiles I'm talking about.They're kind of glowing and such.Hope that helps!  -------------------

yeah and u have 2 hold it till the meter fills up then u put the clones on the squares by touching them. and u can't go back 2 or 3, im pretty sure u can't but theres a chance im wrong but i doubt it. u can make it sorta like 2 or 3 by putting the clone behind another to make it sorta like 2 or 3 if ur trying to fit through places that require 2 or 3

theres a butterfly that appears after u fuse kinstione, the butterfly makes ur guage fill faster, i forgot what the other joy butterfly does

if you have the four sword and you only want 2 clones it wont work no matter how much you try trust me i tried it.
