I can't get into Dr. Left's house (Hyrule Town) in regular form. When I try and open the door to his house he replies:
What is all of this?!
I'm busy, don't you see that?
Do not disturb my research! If you have no business, be gone! You heard me!

And in the game guide everything says that you enter his house and put out the fire in his fireplace and then continue on his roof in Minish form, but i can't even get in his house to put out the fire!

Geez! I just wanna be able to push things as a little person! Any help?

You have to wait until you have to get late Library books and rteturn them to the Library, after that, his house is open completely.
