	You'll have to go to the kindergarten and buy lots and lots of Chao Froot, providing you have enough rings to get them! Or simply just use the B button to grab a tree and the control stick to shake the tree, then when the froots fall off the tree, you feed it to the Chao! When approximately level 16 of stamina is reached, Chao evolves into a cocoon, which means it has finally evolved.

	You are wrong. I raise my chaos by petting them once, they will put their hand on their mouth. When they stop, pet them again and a heart will show. After it disappears, pet it again and the heart will return. Repeat till it likes you or your bored. Now feed it lots and lots of chao fruits. It takes a long time but it does go faster than pet once, give fruit, wait 30 minutes, repeat. If done correctly, you'll have a hero/dark/neuteral chao. Enjoy and happy chao days!
