I think he meant Stuka, as in the German second world war Stuka dive bombers.

No... like Ryan said they were divebombers. I believe the Japanese used Zero's for kamikaze-attacks.

Landing:
You shouldn't need to land in BF2. Doing so only makes you a target for enemy planes who spot you on the runway. If you need to fix your plane do a few passes at low speed. Be careful not to slow down too much and stall over the runway though. Make a habit of doing a slight dodge as you fly over an airfield (some pilots wait for you to fly straight and nail you with missiles without getting a lock first). Bombing: - Learn to switch views quickly while flying and set some easy to use buttons for it (hatswitches on joysticks are perfect) - Bombing with bombers is easy stuff, just practice offline at first. Right after you release the bombs, switch to your rear view and watch them hit. This will give you an idea of what angle, height of release etc you should use. Bombing with the fighter is a lot trickier because they don't do as much damage and cover a smaller area. -The best target to practice on is a tank as they require 2 direct hits to destroy. -They way I bomb is by using a mark on my screen which I put there with a pen. Place a mark about 1 inch below the centre of your gunsight when you're in the plane. -When bombing, approach from about 45 degrees to the target and put you mark on the target. -Release the first bomb from a reasonable height and push down towards the target slightly for the second bomb. -Pull up and check your rear view to see where they land and adjust your mark if you need to. Pretty soon you'll be able to place both bombs right on top of a stationary target. Once you get better at this you will be able to hit moving tanks by dropping the bombs the right distance in front of them (leading). For faster moving vehicles you need to lead further in front of them. | |
