Anyone have a guide for how to swap to gunner and use the TV missile in a Helo without another person? I've been trying, but as soon as I switch, the helo starts going into a huge yaw to the right(i'm completely flat when I press F2) and if I try to launch the missle, it doesn't fire anyway...

You have to switch and fire it immediately before the heli goes off pitch too far. Once the missile impacts/detonates just switch back to cockpit.

by the time I get switched to gunner and it will let me fire, it's usually done a 1/4 turn already

Anyone got any useful tips for flying jets, im getting better but need some more tips?

Gamer_dude, how about aiming off to start with, so like a quarter turn away from the target, that way it lines up by the time you shoot?

Am back home again now guys, finished the helicopter flying phase....so I guess I'm now officially a helo pilot but am still on course learning to fly it the army way now. I'll be on the net but to be honest the crowds a little young for me now, I am 26!

I'm getting 2MB ADSL in 2 weeks and will be on my old xfire profile, it's in the BF2 contacts page, so those who know me watch out for me again from about 10th august onwards!

I've read your helicopter tutorial a long time ago and just managed to find it again. It still is the best guide out there.

I'm curious if you're back now that the 10th August has passed and if you will hold actual lessons again as mentioned in this thread. I'm all for it and I'm sure I'm not alone.

Where it says controls, you have to input the buttons for it, to work. e.g. go onto options, the controls, then whatever one u want, i suspect helicopter and aircraft, then just hit the buttons you want to use, for each assignment
