Yes, as we all know this film is regularly ranked very very high on imdb's top 250, and it has been #1 for a good deal of time, with a significant lead over most other movies [even those in the top 10] with its 9.1 average.
The imdb top 250 does have its problems, but do we agree, mostly? That this film should be getting only 10/10s, that is? I think it is a great movie and if not a 10, something very close. But I find part II much more compelling, and I think Coppola did a much better job crafting it. That's not that Part II is underrated, being #3 in the top 250.
