In the map maker, it has the 'pets' does that mean there are more than just cats? REMOTE CONTROL HAMSTER?!

Perhaps. There is only one (just kitty) that I have so far, but there is an unlockable weapon (monkey gun) from one of the challenges. Perhaps they will let you unlock pets and vehicles aside from the standard Zeep (buggy).

as far as iv done there is no unlockable vehicles and cats and the only unlockable weapons are monkey gun and bricks , I highly doubt any other animals or vehicles.

But alas there is none, though as its already been said im sure there isnt. After playing for hours at a time for a couple of days and unlocking everything there are no other pets. Too bad though, a remote controlled monkey or like lizard would have been interesting. As well as more vehicles to use.
