Namco says that instead of a fall release it will be in november.. that sucks really bad

My bet is for around middle September to early October.

It will probably come out one month earlier in Japan. So Jim if you modding your PS2 you could get the Japanese version and play it before anyone does.

My PS2 is already chipped (did it so I could play Aero Elite)
If I buy the Japanese copy, I'll end up with all three!
Jap, US, and European.
If the Jap game had English subtitles, I might think about it, but I reckon I'll just wait for the US copy and play along at the same time as you guys.
At least then we can all talk about our progress and thoughts on a broadly similar timescale as opposed to me being an annoying know it all been there done that kinda person!
I don't think I could do that to you guys considering how frustrated I felt when y'all were playin Aero Elite and AFDS way before me!
By the way, I finally got AFDS and am sorry to report, I'm not really inspired to play it much. Doesn't really float my boat!

Forgot to mention, someone over at acecombat.net mentioned that they saw a release date for Japan as a month after the US. I can't confirm or deny.

If you out it like that Mike, yeah it makes some sense alright. I doubt I'd know much about the story though unless there were subtitles! Even then they would probably be a bit garbled (like those on my Macross Zero DVD's!)

I am trully looking forward to the excited chat we're gonna have about the game when we get it first. For me, I think it'll be great to have guys like you to talk to about it. Most of my friends aren't as taken with the Ace Combat series as I am.
