It may come as suprice to every one but I choose the KA-50 Black Shark of the Russian Federation Frontal Aviation. It is nimble and was specially desingned with the intention of clearin the front line of Close support aircraft and opposing helicopters. One sit the rest is taken care by super computers. Can take alot of punishment and has very good speeds to. Who would not want to make 150Km/H going side ways and keeping that target in your sites. The next best plane I would love to go in with a SU-37 ( Russian Federation Air Defence Forcees) now that is a plane. Can out run and out manuever most of the missiles, yet heavy as the F-15 now that is what I call good thrust to weight ration and with a helmet monuted sight. I don't think you need to tangle with me. Yes the F-22 is stealthy, then why you need thrust vector technology and guns? No Su-37 is the ultimate killing machine.

quote hezronovichNo plane can out run missiles. They are too fast. But it all depends on range and what type of missiles. Once the missiles burn out, yes you can easily out run and manuever it. Even the F-15C has its JHMCS (Joint Helmet Mounted Cueing System)for the AIM-9X, which is better than the R-73. And the F/A-22 also has the JHMCS. While the R-73 has 60 degress offboresite, the AIM-9X has 360 (Not fully sure about that) and much better guidance and thrust vectoring. And the F-15 is handles better a low speeds. Saying the Su-37 is the best fighter, I can't agree with that. It is never even going into service. I have to say the F/A-22, Eurofighter, Rafale, other Flankers, are the best planes out there. There is no way to find out which is the best. Now if the Su-47 would come int service... I like the Ka-50 HOKUM also. And the KA-52. Very nice aircraft. And as I said earlier, I'd fly the F-15C, F/A-22, and a Flanker as long as it is not the Su-33.

quote Berkut NightwolfThe F-15C gets 940 rounds. Yes, the F/A-22 would most likly win. With the AIM-9X in a dogfight the R-73 stands no chance. And the range would be decreased on the Su-37 because the F/A-22 is stealthy. But the Su-37 would put up a good fight.

The UI-4054 Aurora from Ace Combat 3 was nicknamed Night Raven by some people I think.

A-10 hands down, no questions asked. Its a friggin beast. Doesnt have the speed or the manueverability of them purty fighters, but it'll deal out 100x the damage.

F-14 are sweet. What is it, 24 targets they can track simultaneously? Absolutley incredible. I remember 2 years ago, I was up at Bike Week in New Hampshire, me and my buddy went for a ride. All of a sudden I hear this noise, I thought it was my bike. Im lookin around and outta the corner of my eyes, I see an A-10 flyin just above the trees. Sucker couldnt have been more than 300-400 ft up. God i love those jets. ------------------- What fits on your back, is good for a snack, its Log Log Log.

Yeah, I used to not like the A-10 because of it's age going without an upgrade. But in the past few months I've gained a tremendous amount of respect for this plane. And the fact that (apparently) an A-10C upgrade is on it's way for 2006, that even fixes my age concerns. I like the A-10, but it wouldn't exactly be my type of plane to fly because of how slow the sucker is, but man does she pack a punch! -------------------

I would want to fly the F/A-18 for the US.Navy, with the Black Knights Squadron(as seen in Independence Day), other than that, i would fly the Su-27 Flanker with the Russian Knights
