doesn't anyone think its stupid that when gohan turns into super gohan, he can't turn super saiyan?!

Mystic not Super. no it's not stupid. in the DBZ anime old kai said with his mystic form he wouldn't need to transform to a ssj and he never did. so they kept it true to the anime.

but in the anime, when super buu absorbed gotenks and piccolo, how come gohan still didn't turn into super saiyan? did he lose his powers?

he surpass ssj, mystic was as high as he could go because of old kai's training or whatever.
