walkthrough

I've been looking for cheats or walkthroughs for this game (I'm stuck on the boss for "Get a Clue") if anyone could help, it would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

re: walkthrough

if you haven't done this yet, you have to move a box to near the middle of the room and lure the ghost to hover above it. Keep running circles around it and it will stay generally above the box. When it disappears, use the spy glass to make sure the box is very close to the ghost's shadow and move the box if necessary. When it is below it switch to the world inverter and flip the room. The box will crash down on the ghost. Do it four times and it's over.

re: walkthrough

i need help locating four coins on the Get a Clue level and the movie clip on the Great Esc-Ape. If anyone knows a good coin resource or has the location of the clip, I'd appreciate it.

re: walkthrough

I'm stuck in the Dad's Dream part. I'm saved with 2 moths flying around my light bulb, but I'm in front of the frog, and can't get around him. I did push the box into the water, but don't seem to be able to jump from the box to the other side. Can anyone help?

Thanks!

re: walkthrough

You need to switch to the magnet and fire a piece of metal at the frog. That starts a timer while he is chewing on the metal. Switch back to the bulb, grab your moth and run past him before it expires.

re: walkthrough

Redbird,

To find all the coins in "Get a Clue", be sure to use the Upside-Downer to look on the ceilings and bottoms of tables. That should help you find the missing coins.

The Video Clip in "The Great Esc-Ape" is located in the hallway leading to the main area room on the bottom floor. Return to it after getting the Monkey Wrench wish and then use it to unscrew the bolt in the hallway. Behind the wall is the clip and a guard monkey. You'll have to work fast because you will automatically get caught if he sees you, so use the Banana Launcher and move quick to get the clip.

Do you know where the video clip is in "Vicky Strikes Back"? Look at my question and see if you know the answer. Thanks.

re: walkthrough

Danshelb-

Many thanks for the good answer. I had checked here for replies for a few days, then I just figured I'd gather up every moth available and go past the frog. If you have 4 moths, they'll keep the frog busy, and you'll have enough time to get past him.

Now my next question - I'm in the Great Esc-ape, and having trouble again. I just can't figure out how to get the drawbridge down to get to the other side of the water after finishing the first couple of rooms. It's making me crazy. My 7-year-old daughter is looking to me for help, but I haven't got a clue. Any ideas? Thanks again.

re: walkthrough

I can see why that part is causing you problems. It gave me trouble too. Use the Banana Launcher to shoot some bananas to the other side of the drawbridge. There should be a little monkey on the other side. If you shoot the bananas right, the monkey will run to the banana. Shoot the bananas in the right place and the monkey will step on the green switches on the other side. Once the switch(es) have been hit by the monkey, the drawbridge will fall down, allowing you to go to the next section.

Please read my question and see if you know the answer. Thanks!

re: walkthrough

Sealer-

That's exactly what I thought I had to do, but the problem is, the landing on the other side is too far away for the bananas to reach! They keep landing in the water. I thought that was the pretty obvious solution, but it just seems to be too far away. I'll go back and try again as soon as I hit the reply button. THANKS!

re: walkthrough

Just try holding down the button longer and the bananas should fly further. Be sure to stand as close to the water as possible and this should work. If not, just reply back to me and I'll go back in the game and find out for myself.

re: walkthrough

Holy Cow, do I feel like an idiot, Sealer. Of course that's the problem. I was only hitting the "Y" button, not holding it down. It didn't take long to get through the rest of that part, now I'm trying to take care of the ape boss. Thanks again.

re: walkthrough

Will do, Sealer. Vicky Strikes Back is the last one I need to get through, and as soon as I take care of the Ape Boss, that's where I'm headed.

re: walkthrough

Hey, Sealer - I hate to say this, but I already HAVE the video Vicky video clip, but I don't remember where I got it, for sure. See, I only had Vicky and the Esc-ape parts to do, and I went through Vicky quite a ways before giving up on it and going to the Esc-ape. Somewhere in the first go-through of Vicky, I did get the clip. I believe it was in a hidden cave or opening or something in the "outside" part, where you're in the outside, sort of lunar landscape. I'd try looking around out there. I'm not sure, but I believe that's where it was.

re: walkthrough

I swear that I have checked every square inch of that lunar landscape, but I'll go back and check. Do you recall if you need any of the wishes to get to it? Thanks for helping me out on that.

To anyone else who reads this, see if you can find the video clip in "Vicky Strikes Back". If you can, let me know please. Thanks.
