on zelda links awakening dx,i tried in tail cave to defeat those yellow and black circle guys but the are undefeatable!note:anybody who helps is AWESOME.

i`ve been stuck on it for a week.my mom((aka legend of zelda kinggg uh queen)told me i have to get a torch of some kind and i can`t find the torch thing!

I'm pretty sure there are two ways to destroy them. The first way that I know for sure works is the boomerang, which you won't acquire until very late in the game. The second way might work, but I'm not positive. You've got to use your magic powder on them, which requires getting very close, so you might get hurt. But if it works, it will destroy the thing and release a fairy which should restore your life anyway.

The thing is though, you don't have to defeat them. You can just avoid them and play the rest of the dungeon unhindered.

Edit: I apologize. I went back and tried the magic powder method unsuccessfully. I must have been getting it confused with another Zelda game. But just avoid them and you shouldn't have any problems. Don't forget to get the boomerang too. That kills them for sure.

If you mean the things with the skull kinda, you are talking about a Anti-Fairy. WangChung, you must have sprinkled wrong, powder does work. It only lets a fairy go once, so save it.

hes talking about the thing that goes around the room in level 2, and orbits the boxes in level 1, and powder doesnt work.

The things with a skull can be killed with the boomerang.
The things with a smiling face cannot be killed.

hey mistery. the yellow and black cirle guys are impossblie to destory without the boomarang.
