Parachute... |
|
I've recently started playing on-line and am trying to figure out the controls. How do you use the parachute when jumping from tall buildings and such? Thanks

If I recall correctly, I believe that pressing "TRIANGLE" (green triangle shape) opens your parachute. Pressing it again will tuck it away instantly. Here's a tip, mate, for online: if you have to bail out of a helicopter or jump off a tall bridge, try to open your 'chute at the last moment possible, say maybe 5 meters off the ground. That way enemy snipers and such will have a difficult time trying to pick you off as you descend to the ground helplessly. Also, don't forget: you can use the parachute over and over again using the Triangle button. Don't worry that if you put your parachute away in mid-air you won't have another chance. You will. Hope to see you on the battlefield soon.

Or if some MAV or enemy infantryman is shooting at you, you can try releasing and tucking away your parachute alternatively. That way they will have a difficult time "leading you."
