No, this game doesn't have a free roam mode, but, apart from that, its by far the best racing game i have ever played!!! And trust me, you won't get bored after a while!
so altogether, i highly recommend this game for everyone! | |

it's a great racer, the best PS2 racer available IMO
 If you really want free-roam mode, I think you would need to get a PS3 and buy burnout Paradise   ------------------- LINKIN PARK ROCKS!

I think you can cruise , their are some options where you can choose for cruising around the city, i cant remeber it but i have seen in my friends place....

You're probably thinking of Time Attack. You can make as many laps as you want, and the only object is to get the fastest lap. As far as I know, you can go for as long as you want.
