Fifa 2002 is by far the best fifa game since 2006. Since I don't have the money to buy 2006 just yet, I was trying to get 2002 working again.

About 3 years ago, my playstation 2 was playing up, and scratching all my discs. Since Fifa 2002 was my most played game, it copped it bad. It does no longer work.

When I go to play it, it works until it gets to the "Checking for memory card" screen. It never loads. Any suggestions to get it working again? or am I screwed.
