dont matter how hard i try to get relegated i always seem
to stay up ..i want to see if there are all the div 1 teams
in fifa 2002.ive only ever seen,bradford,coventry,birmingham
and man city..a shame

I think 2002 is the same as 2001 with this part in the game, when i had 2001 i tryed to get relegated and when i was relegated the game ended and said "u were relegated sorry game over". So in answer to the question No u cant.

I think in future games you should be able to play as Div. 1,2,3 teams aswell:)

what i mean by relegated is when you finish a season and
go on to the next years season you get three new teams
that come up and three teams that go down..
the only thing is ,is that you cant seem to go down yourself
as i would prefer to see if any secret teams are in the
lower divisions...
as the other guy said i believe the game just ends if you
dont stay up..the only game ive played where you play in more than one divison is THIS IS FOOTBALL 2002.(pal name)

I agree with yall about being relegated!!! I wish they had 1st n 2 nd division teams so I can either get promoted and try to get into uefa cups like in real life... they should add more realism into the game...i hope 2003 has these features... because we've been stuck with the same division for too long... come on fifa be more innovative... look at 989 Sports' World Tour Soccer 2002... they have all 3 divisions!!! WOW!!! yall should check that game out!!!

the game you have mentioned is the american version of
THIS IS FOOTBAL 2002.the only thing was with that game is
that you cannot buy new players ..but yes ,playing with
lower divisons is a great idea.support your local team...
Anyone played LMA 2002 yet..now that is class and its 2
player ..but its a manager game so totally different from
FIFA.

i dont like the local teams or im a sour player and cheat, by upgrading the players to be super teams.
