Evey notice Jack/P-Jack, Nina/Anna and Yoshimitsu/Kunimitsu? Well the counterpart is like a duplicate with similar moves. Wang and Michelle had similar moves but they are not related. I don't really like duplicates either.

I guess they noticed that in Tekken 4, when they got rid of Wang, Anna, Gun Jack, and Kunimitsu. Duplicates are the same, and duplicates take too much memory for nothing.

Tekken 5 come out with the return of Baek, Anna, and Wang, but with different moves. I guess they still had the characters from popular demand but they want them to have different moves so they won't be the same.

That's also why Jin doesn't have his Mishima style. Devil, Kazuya, and Heichachi already have the style. They don't need another one.
