I've finished it on normal and extreme modes now, but there're still a few medals I haven't got yet.. when I finished it on normal I had 2 guys with bronze star and 2 with bronze and silver, all had the POW medals and the Vietnam commendation, but I figure you always get those 2 because of the missions which are compulsory.

When I finished it on extreme I noticed all the guys had purple hearts (medal you get for being wounded) even thought I was wounded a lot on normal as well . Probably more so.

What about the others? I don't know how to get them..

And I need something more to do with the game now I've finished extreme

I'm not sure what you need to get the silver star, only junior got it when I finished it in extreme, I have no idea.

yer i find it hard also to get medals i am on the last mission and i think everyone on my team only have 2 medals(playing easy)

i didnt know where else to ask this..and i didnt wanna start a new thread for just this ..but is this game out allready..cuz i see yall talkin bout the levels and ish ..but i thought it didnt come out till oct 5??

Thats the US release date, it was released in Europe and other PAL countries in early September. I'm pretty sure the developer is in England, that'd explain it

I`m glad I`m not the only one having problems with winning the medals in the game. Can anyone tell me what you have to do to get anything above the Bronze Star?

Granted I`m playing it on easy, but Junior is completing the levels by himself, but never seems to get above Bronze Star.

The most he`s killed one one level is 201, on the level were you have to through the yelloe smoke to get the choppers to attack. He`s just completed the statue level by himself killing 100, but didn`t get anything!!!!

Help him win the Silver Star please!!!!!!!

So as a parting gesture....

I`ve just complete Conflict Vietnam on normal setting, and got the following medals.

Ragman - Bronze Star
Junior - Silver Star
Hoss - Army Commendation Medal
Doc- Army Commendation Medal.

Points to note - no purple hearts, and yet they all got wounded at some point.

Hoss didn`t get his Vietnam Campaign Medal till after he`d got his POW Medal.

Junior got the Silver Star - for the Statue Medal, he killed over a 100 normally & 13 Stealth kills.

I`m sure there is some sort of format for the awarding of the medals, but I have no idea what it is?

Have done it. Completed it last night in hard mode.

Ragman got the Medal of Honour
Junior & Doc got ARCOM`s
Hoss only got the Nam medal.

Everyone got the POW medal.

But interestingly no one got the Purple Heart. I have no idea what you have to do to get that, everyone had been MIA at numerous times, during the game.

I have no idea what you have to do to get the medals, still!!! I can only assume that its a combination of stealth kills, high normal kills, and low hits upon yourself...maybe?????

I can only suggest that you use one character as the main combatant, and just use the other 3 as followers. This is what I did, and Ragman came home bathed in glory!!!
