	no the batteries were on the individual cartridges, the expansion pack its an extra memory, bateries were more efficient due that you could for a matter of fact save your game and switch to the other not worrying yourself to see IF you still had left space to use and save the game like happens with the last gen consoles. ------------------- Join GoBad Chaos commanders Join Time Warp Join the Star meteor clan
