N64 problem with tv |
|
hi
i have recently found my self wanting to play my N64 more and more which is odd because i havent played it in about 6 years, but anyway i was wondering 1)can you use a ps2 Av cable for a N64 because i seem to have lost my original nintendo one and 2) does the N64 work on a Sd Mikomi LCD tv, may i inform you that it is quite an old LCD because it has an S-video cable input. i also dont know how to tune this tv because i rarely use it

It is certainly possible to hook up an N64 system to a regular LCD TV, but to do so, you must have the original audio/visual output cords manufactured for the console.
Cords from other systems simply won't do the trick, such as PS2 ones. -------------------

Are you sure that would work? I've always known that the only television output cords that work for any individual console are the ones they come packaged with and them alone.

ah i have found the solution you need to get a S-video-a/v connector that is compatable with both the N64 and the Gc

Do you have a picture of this particular connector cable? I can't seem to find it over the net.

quote DXDmy original AV cable was damaged way too long ago, so i tried the GC one, and worked seems that nintendo actually still thinks about ti early consoles (well we are talking about the people that made the market of videogames what it is, sony came way too after nintendo, and microsoft is just a baby when it comes to home systems.) http://www.amazon.com/s?ie=UTF8&tag=mozilla-20&index=blended&link_code=qs&field-keywords=N64%20AV%20cable&sourceid=Mozilla-search ------------------- ![]() Join GoBad Chaos commanders Join Time Warp Join the Star meteor clan

Interesting, so I guess Nintendo is quite the customer-conscious company after all.

quote DXDaligth just to make a anyalyze to both of the best game of both consoles 64= zelda, everything was definited, most of the things were in 3D, even faces had its definitions. PSX= metal gear solid, blurry faces, graphics, etc., decent control, good hsitory, bad game play, for being a survival/sneaking game. ------------------- ![]() Join GoBad Chaos commanders Join Time Warp Join the Star meteor clan

Since I was like 8 years-old back when the N64 was new, I could've cared less about mature, violent games. That could also explain where my decision lied.
