I love the mini-games... even though theirs not alot, they make-up for it in quality.

To name just one, is a lofty feat, but I have to put Super Mario 64 up. Now this game does not hold the top spot for being my favorite Nintendo 64 release (see: Ocarina of Time), however it brought with it a timeless revolution point. Where the Sega Saturn was toying with clunky 3D imagery, and the Playstation was chugging along with quick "me too" platformer hopefuls, an old friend of gamers the world over was reborn, and with him the perfect adventure game. I was so young and in so much awe at Super Mario 64, I still remember picking up the controller for the first time and thinking I had jumped years into the future.

Beautiful game, and meeting Yoshi on the castle roof was not only the icing, but the maraschino cherry on the cake.

Well, Super Mario 64 was definitely the most revolutionary N64 game, but my favorite is The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time. In my opinion, Ocarina of Time is the closest you can come to perfection. I remember my first time stepping out into Hyrule Field, and just being in awe. The scope was amazing, and the freedom to go wherever you wanted was unmatched at the time.

Throw in nine complex dungeons (each with their own boss battle at the end), a deep storyline, countless detailed locations (towns, forests, lakes, mountains, deserts, volcanos, castles, caves, rivers, etc), awesome items, numerous sidequests, an epic final encounter with Ganon, and some of the best graphics at the time, and you got yourself one hell of a game.

No game is perfect, but Ocarina of Time came pretty damn close.

Aside from the usual, Blast Corps. is/was severely underrated.

most games i like have been mentioned, i think pokemon snap is good whilst it lasts as well. will try and get some of the other games i read on here on ebay soon.

I'm going to go against the popular opinion here and declare that Lylat Wars (Starfox 64 outside Europe) is the best. I can play it anytime without any sense of boredom.

Ocarina of Time is second follwed by Majora's Mask.

Legend of Zelda : Ocarina of Time, but now I don't have it for the 64 anymore.

My favorite that I OWN would probably be Mario Kart 64.

Either of the LoZ games were classics, as was Super Mario 64.

I also LOVED the Starfox game(name eludes me), Super Smash Brothers, Pokemon Stadium, Banjo Kazooie and Mario Kart 64 so I'd say those rank very highly as well in my opinion.
