With Anime cut-scenes of Zero going insane. Kinda like X4 but bigger. That would be awesome.

I'd like to point out that Megaman and Megaman X -are- connected. Capcom released an official timeline of the series. the only games that weren't considered "Canon", so to speak, were x6-x8. Apparently they "screwed up the storyline".
There has been lots of speculation... If 9 were to be made, it would be much darker than the others, in the series. | |

Of course they're connected. But regardless, the classic and X series are both completely different. If they ever did make a MM9, it would have to be in the lighter tone of the classic series. It wouldn't feel right to see the more mature themes of the X series mixed with the cartoonish elements of the classic games.

Hell, they can put BOTH MegaMan 9 and MegaMan X9 on the same PS3 disc and call it.......well.....MegaMan X9.

That's actually a great idea, and one I would love as well. If they made a MM9 and MMX9, say, in the style of MM8 and MMX8 respectively, we would wind up with 2 great games that didn't take up much disk space. They could definitely fit them on one PS3 or Xbox 360 disk without a problem. And we fans would finally get sequels for 2 of our favorite series!

I already know about this and I haven't got around to posting the news about it here yet. This is great though! I was a bit surprised to see this game is using NES graphics rather than today's graphics though. I have a Wii, so I'll be downloading this when it come out.

That's great. If I had a Wii, I would definitely be downloading it as well. I'm very happy that the graphics are the old 8-bit style, and that they're getting back to the series roots. Now, if only it was available for Xbox live or for PSP.
